did anyone read yesterday's sun, james blunt is fucking manufactured he's got an evil team of songwriters behind him, including robbie's evil chum guy chambers, this is fucking outrageous all the stupid twats have been telling for months how talented and amazing this guy when really he is just another corporate puppet, robbie with a guitar, fucking n*sync reject i bet, also wouldn't surprise if the whole army back story was bull-shit... man what a shit world we live in, blunt sells the records, whilst proper talented bands such as the swarm, mclusky, ikara colt, at the drive-in fall by the way-side without anyone noticing the public are twats they will swallow whatever they are force-fed!

well..

if you look at the albumn cover and info inside,it states that some are songs written by him and others are corroborations. Does it really matter, besides i don't think that James Blunt ever pertained to be non-manufactured...

How comes

"youre beautiful (its true...is it now???)" has a demo version which is actually worse than the released version...arent demos for self written stuff as opposed to record label written stuff?

why would they pick james blunt to front this anyway...i mean hes not exactly the most "beautiful" guy and his hair...gosh...

the spice girls got writing credits on their first album. call me cynical....

also; im certain that in the contracts, you can make a massive difference between what the publicly stated writership is and the way the royalties work.

also also: popbitcxh said ages ago that blunt gave half his publishing rights for the songs to his girlfriend, and then dumped her, so she now gets rich off his stuff and asks for stupid amounts of money whenever she can.

I do like the title of this thread, though, because of how it suggests the image of his label auditioning boy singer/acoustic guitarists through an advert in The Stage for a svengali'd project called 'James Blunt'.

theres no way she could own half the publishing, cos even Blunty doesn't own half the publishing...She may own half of his publishing, which still probably doesn't come to a lot.

I suspect he's got, like 5% of most of those songs, purely to make him appear more credible- that's what he is- a shit, cynical music business fart, made to appear like he's a singer songwriter...
