Bought three random cds in HMV at the weekend (I felt like I was being robbed good and proper). Mew were 'ok'. Yellowcard were most definitely NOT. I could think of many more offensive bands from the last year anyway.

would you by Yellowcard? They are absolute SHITE. Mew on the other hand are great. I love their latest album.

are amazing...i listened to "special" around 6 times a day for a week...and their latest album around 3 times a day for a week...frengers is also full of actually good indie disco material...
their earlier work is more questionable..."king christian" "mica" and the truly bad "Im a tsin-tsi for you"...a bit too 80s pop for my liking...
and their lyrics arent always the best...but theyre foreign so you can forgive them...

Mew. The new album's fantastic. I always thought Frengers was a little overrated in all honesty, but Glass-Handed Kites is amazing. They're even better live too... Though seeing them live was when I found out that the singer looks like an unfortunate cross between Johnny Borrell and Jon Bon Jovi.
