Can anyone recommend the best torrent site for rare songs, I remember the days old of audiogalaxy when any songs by most bands could be found!. Anyone recommend a good site for stuff like rare b sides, demos etc...? Ive used stuff like soulseek and limewire but they're not really good for rare tracks by most bands.

like indietorrents or oink. people put up loads of rare stuff on those.
I don't have any invites though, sorry...
I can normally find tonnes of rare stuff on slsk, you just persistent and search through the rooms. And use the wishlist function if you want somether specific and rare, its actually pretty good for that.

Not sure if anyone is interested but i have access to an INVITE ONLY FTP site that has terrabytes of MP3s. Much of it is hard to find rarities from bands such as Radiohead, Kraftwork, Bjork etc etc. I really could go on and on. It really has virtually everthing you could imagine. More recent stuff (from the last year) is harder to find. It really kicks Soulseeks ass for older stuff.
The Bjork stuff is quite large and has many bootlegs too. One of them being Emotional Landscapes Bottleg 1998 (is this rare? I don't know!)

Seriously, the best place for sharing 'rare' music is somewhere like this here message board. How many unique hits does it get a day? Thousands i'd wager.
I bet if you have a request someone here could help you out and hook up MP3s. Why do you think there has been a proliferation of free hosting sites? Applications like Soulseek are redundant now.
