He rereleased Elctric Avenue...

remember?
And then faded into obscurity

he did

he had a best of out around the same time. it was, er, 3/4 years ago i think.

Isn't he dead?

quite recently?

Someone died anyway.

Ed's Dead?

lol

That isn't funny, Marcofella

That he's dead! Imagine!

Sorry :(

It was a lighthearted (if pathetic) reference to the line from Pulp Fiction...

'Zed's Dead'

Didn't he open up his own juice van business and start

touring the festival circuit??
I have no idea.

No,

Rose you're thinking of Russell Grant

Russell Grant is a fat astrologer

or am i thinking of Russell Crowe?

russell grant was on

that terrible chantelle program recently. she went to visit him at his flat, which from what i could tell was somewhere in Bloomsbury.

this made me sad, as even russell fucking grant lives where i want to live :(

I've got Eddie Grant's

address, should anyone want it, they can't have it.

Why not?

Is he alive?? Is he well??

i heard

he is a producer now

I just know his address!

I'm not his coroner.

He has a recording studio in Barbados

and has recently pioneered a new style of music - 'ringbang' - a fusion of calypso and reggae

I think

I've seen an arthouse film about 'ringbang'

speaking of Eddy Grant...

can anyone Yousendit "Black Skinned Blue Eyed Boys" by his old band, The Equals for me please?

i can't find it in any shape or form and i'm getting rather irritated.

80's

It should be pointed out that as a member of 'The Equals', Eddie Grant was also a sixties and seventies pop icon...the guy is a total genius of longevity.

and

he produced sting as well

so he has got a sense of humour

with charles

Would I lie to you baby, would I lie to you "OH YEAH".

That was Eddie, no?

Rubbish Eddie Grant fact

His touring band was Gary Powell's previous employment before joining the Libertines.
