The DiS news monkeys reckon that The Electric Soft Parade will be the secret 'special guests' band at this year's Truck Festival.

The teeny 2-day festival held on a farm in Steventown, Oxfordshire, takes place on July 19-20th. If indeed the rumour is true (we couldn't possibly say...) then ESP will join the likes of (the mighty) British Sea Power, Fonda 500, Chris T-T, Goldrush and ex-Ride frontman Mark Gardener, among many many more.

DiS will be producing a free magazine to coincide with the festival, available approx one month from now. More details, as always, when we get 'em.

if you can't afford truck, you really is poor.

plus it's impressively unblaggable - truckers famously charge guestlists higher price than normal door charge (for 'admin') at their gigs and don't give a fuck about press freebies.

they rock, in other words.
