if we reported is that he died in some manner that would damage his image, such as during a child porn orgy/endangered species barbeque party or some such, and while the dieing bit might not be much of an issue (ie he either did or didn't, right or wrong) the other part is a far more legal matter, saying he gets up to such things off the cuff isnt' really they way to go about matters

it's bad enough when someone ODs and the press is split between "he's great for being a junkie" and "terrible example to our kids" etc, that could lead to loss of earnings, even just a big rumour if it's spread around enough
