theo?

i hold my hat up as a bit of a sci fi nerd. and i enjoy trigonometry. and integration.

:|

i like scifi, theres nothing wrong with that...

i like horror and sci-fi

and post on more than one message board, that must count for something

I've already done a Physics with Astrophysics degree

does that make me more geeky than twotonesaul, then?

Cocks.

Me: Maths degree; software engineer; own a t-shirt with Uncertainty Principle equation on it;

What's

the uncertainly principle equation?

Are you sure?

math too

still read comics at 35...

i'm also doing physics

so i think we are tied there!

so far i think mr traynor has the lead

traynor, did you make that tshirt?

i really, really want one.

I've read all the books that comprise the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy over 20 times each, and i'm doing 3 sciences and maths at a level.

Balls, I need a degree. I just look like a wannabe nerd now.

what a bunch of geeks.

I think I'll leave, way too cool for you kids.

yes

go away cool kid...

i'm only a geek

with music. and films. and books.

never had any time for maths and science, though. and i've never read a comic book, but i've got a whoopee! annual from 1992.

I study dead languages

does that make me a geek, or really really cool?

geek

cos my brother does it too. and he is not cool. no sirreee.

i'm

doing physics too. we should start a posse.

i feel bad for theo

he's not a geek. real geeks aren't even self-aware enough to mock geekery.

of course

reading back this morning, that doesn't sound as complimentary as it should.

Maths and Science fucking suck. I'm not even bad at them so I'm not resentful, they're just shit.

ME

!

Im a history geek

and music geek.

I also geeked your mum.

So i win.

i

im dis geek!

yes

your pedantry is unrivalled and legendary.

^^same here

I LOVE History, and excessive amounts of music too of course. I'm doing Ancint History and Archaeology and uni next year? Where I plan to study AT LEAST one dead language.

That's a bit sad isn't it? I plan to make History cool again.

Is history not cool?

I got a world atlas of human and geographical history for christmas. And have spent a few rock 'n' roll night poring over the development of the United States with Fidel. There is on much brilliant information in there about sites of significance in early human devlopment. And I've never seen a more thorough debunking of creationism.

I don't know if I'm a geek or not. I think I definitely have some geeky tendencies. Anyway, geekism is completely the fashion these days. Geeks are my favourite kind of people. They KNOW stuff.

And I dunno.

Why is an interest in history considered geeky? :-S
Isn't this just normal intellectual curiosity?

Wrong board,

shirley.

history

was considered to be the main 'geek subject' at school. i've never fully understood why. it was actually my favourite subject, and i got an A* in my gcse. but i took it at college and found it to be incredibly boring - by the end of the course i'd been studying the nazi party for six consecutive years, something the most committed bnp member wouldn't dream of.

history = ACE

My favourite historians are Eric Hobbbawm and Susan Reynolds. They rock.

I've got a first in physics, a PhD in theoretical nuclear physics, think Feynman diagrams are more beautiful than the Sagrada da Familia and find esoteric programming languages hilarious. What a fucking geek.

e

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!

...but it's not rocket science is it?

Wang Computers

Kid i saw wearing t-shirt with aforementioned company.

he was Uber-Nerd and you are all Unter-Geeks

I am a Jock.

Bow before me Nerd, for until you get a good job and earn more money, I am your god!

You're a lawyer

and built like a beanpole, FFS. Try that again when you've not met any of us :D
