haha
i win
Jesus Christ
I'm gonna just camp and try to sneak in. So far that is actually the worst line up I have ever seen, though the smaller stages are usually pretty good.
yeah
it does look a fairly shit line up, almost V-festival worthy. not as good as last years.
still, they usually have some good smaller bands on. not that i will be going, as i have £15 in my bank account. shame.
OMG
Fall Out Boy! Panic! At The Disco! THE SUBWAYS!
I'm in heaven
last year
was way better. but yeah yeah yeahs, dirty pretty things, raconteurs woudl be worth it.shame theres no tool, i was hoping there would be.
one word:
disappointment
I am excited...
...now if I could get a fucking ticket (seetickets - GET BETTER SERVERS)
meh
lame.
yup - as per usual
All servers appear down on the million & one possible links.
It's funny how no-one can organise the sale of 200,000 tickets at the same time to people who are not touts.
e-bay will be hot tonight...
piss up...brewery...
mean fiddler couldn't be more aptly named, could it?
the whole of the reading/leeds thing stink of (amongst other things) bleeding their customers dry.
things like getting to central leeds then having to pay extra to get to the site proper. couldn't they forgo that for the price of the ticket? no. apparently not.
or like letting you buy relatively cheap beer, but then not letting you take it into the arena, where it's extortionate.
or employing rude, useless staff, half of whom don't speak english.
and then there's the ticket selling. prices go up by £50 a year, but still they can't organise a simple and fair way to buy. there's no reason why they can't get a better server, and a better phone system. and named tickets/id requirements. except maybe just plain meanness.
i sound bitter? yeah, probably. and i actually got tickets...
Primal Scream
in that tent will be awesome. Live they are fantastic. I am actually certain they haven't put them on the main stage as its always embarrassing for whoever has to follow - nobody can compete at a festival.
And I say all this despite not really liking Primal Scream.
i'm thinking that
hopefully primal scream = kenin shields on the axe...
obviously i'm talking
about kevin shields, not kenin.
Why the hell
are Arctic Monkeys subheadlining Muse?
They're nowhere near good enough for that type of billing.
Except Muse and The Streets, The Cribs are the best thing on the bill.
Looks Like It's SOld Out At Reading
45 mins at my reckoning
Just Got 2 Leeds from here
http://www.seetickets.com/see/leedsreading.asp
oohh adendum!
YOu can still get Reading Tickets wit coach travel - hammer that refresh button!
Wow
how very predictable. Oh well, Leeds here i come. The Carling tent tends to be a goody. Lets hope they get some decent acts on there.
!
Well, I've never gone to R/L for the headliners thats for sure.
The YYY's would probably be only the band I'd remotely want to see there...
got 2
ticket and coach tickets to reading they selling slow.... for reading it seems. im in it for muse
reading and leeds urgh
you pay 150-200 quid to spend a weekend trapsing through muddy fields, having crap sleep, being to scared to shit cos the toilets suck, being to scared to eat cos the prices are awful and ur still to scared to shit. you end up seing about 20 bands 16 of which youve already seen in the past year. you see 2 new bands that would have cost you only a couple of quid to see down at ur local barfly and 2 other bands whoi u only see so u can be near the front for the bands u love. you go home stinking, sore legged, and with horrible back pain
festivals - overated much?
Im not going...
but its a bit stupid putting Primal Scream and Pearl Jam on at the same time.
primal scream are on friday night, pearl jam are on sunday night?
what he said
Although to be fair...
If you read it again, this piece DOES say:
"Sunday Reading/Friday Leeds - Pearl Jam"
Followed by..
"Friday Leeds/Sunday Reading - Primal Scream"
Kinda suggests they're on the same day according to this article. Is it wrong?...
not really
see, as a 17 year old ( i can hear the groans...) its great... added to the fact, loaadsa people who cant get laid in the human world do at reading, and you appreciate cold beer and non greasy food so much more. oh and showers
so...
hence why Ive even bothered to resignup to dis just to express my joy in having a ticket!
reading sell out
Couldnt get a reading ticket (i blame ebay) so instead I'm going to the INSOMNIACS BALL. A whole night of random fab music for only £20-cant say fairer than that. And its not sold out yet :)
www.insomniacsball.co.uk
Fuck that.
Reading !!!
now i have tickets i am far more excited!
But More Importantly...
When is the Truck line-up being announced?!
tickets and ebay
i have been going to reading now for nearly ten years. when i first started going it was possible to get tickets a month before the festival and each year it gets shorter, the last couple of years, this year especially it has just become obscene.
having just looked at ebay there are like 600 pair of tickets listed, thats less than 24hrs after the release of the bloody things. looking at v it is a similar story.
my question is do ebay log how many tickets for these sorts of events they help trade. i honestly cant imagine that the tickets will be going for the price in august as they are at the moment.
i understand that this is a massively popular and now a mainstream event (you only have to walk around the site to realise that)
how many tickets go through ebay?
i would say about 10%
