We have got wind of a cracking tour in mid-May which sees DiS favourites 65daysofstatic headlining a Barfly tour with some cracking supports: my favourite new Finnish band, Disco Ensemble and the Morning After Girls who are a) Australian and b) mostly not girls.
Obviously, as soon as we found out that recent DiS-cover stars Disco Ensemble (pictured) were playing, we were straight on the blower to frontman Mikka Koivisto who chose to speak mainly in riddles: "We're really excited! Fish and Chips! Wicked mate! Oi! Oi! Oi! Geezer!"
If you're not going to The Great Escape festival you are silly because 1) that's where this tour kicks off and 2) DiS has a stage near the beach with some really, really, really good bands on it. More details to follow.

65daysofstatic have a show booked at the Mean Fiddler on the 19th May according to their Myspace and website and City And Colour (Dallas Green from Alexisonfire) is supposed to be playing the Camden Barfly on the 25th May...
They're also playing
Birmingham Barfly on Saturday May 20th.

There's no Mean Fiddler gig and this tour is CONFIRMED.

same day as decemberists gig. annoyance. ah well saw them less than a month ago - there awesome live, if ur wondering weather or not to, do go see them its well worth it.

...has indeed disappeared from their site but is still on their myspace, which is odd. I have no doubt that this tour is confirmed, I'm just very confused by the fact that another headlining show is also booked at the London Barfly on the the 25th...

there does appear to be
2 amazing gigs in one day at the camden barfly on the 25th. Ive got my ticket for city and the colour which starts around 6. As far as im aware theres no support. For the 65 days gig doors open at 7.30 methinks so it is possible for their to be both gigs. Im going to both anyway.
