The band will be playing through their forthcoming album, 'Disappear Here', at the Camden Barfly on October 16th.
The release date for the project has been put back to allow time off for singer James Broad, who will be getting married in late September. A single, likely to be 'Bubblegum', will be released in October to coincide with the performance.
The single will be the first new material since the 'Sun's last album, 'Neo Wave', was released back in October '98. Broad says the new material is lyrically "more upbeat" than their past work.

What do you like then, future-boy? The tune vacuums that pass for most of your oh-so-now garage bands?
Anyway, go have a shag, if you can find someone who actually would.

P.S. Mind you, anyone who thinks that The Strokes have ever written a tune as good as 'Lava' is deluding themselves.
