Jetplane Landing: Tour Supports Confirmed

genius! once over twice and intentions of an asteroid and jarcrew are all great...

Re: Jetplane Landing: Tour Supports Confirmed

the once over twice are fucking ace. Their album is one of the best records i have heard in a long time. Bout time they got on the road again!

Re: Jetplane Landing: Tour Supports Confirmed

I can confirm that Fickle Public and 1" Volcano are also both ace.

Re: Jetplane Landing: Tour Supports Confirmed

I can confirm 1" Volcano are ace.. live review of their Camden show on Wednesday should be up soon, right? (I submitted it today).

Re: Jetplane Landing: Tour Supports Confirmed

I aint seeing it in the queue???

Re: Jetplane Landing: Tour Supports Confirmed

That's cos i stuck it online the day it was queued.

Re: Jetplane Landing: Tour Supports Confirmed

they have an album now? i only heard the demo which was then subsequently released on organ... where can i get the record? what label is it on?

Re: Jetplane Landing: Tour Supports Confirmed

that demos pretty good - ill do the right thing when im...ready
?

Re: Jetplane Landing: Tour Supports Confirmed

For no real reason, I'll just concur that 1" Volcano.

Re: Jetplane Landing: Tour Supports Confirmed

...i can just hear the intro in my head

ill do the right thing when im... REEAAADY!

*in comes the riff*

YES!

DiS should seriously consider getting hold of the once over twice EP and doing some coverage...

Re: Jetplane Landing: Tour Supports Confirmed

not sure the once over twice album is on any label - i picked it up off the band at a show in exeter quite recently. It's fucking sweet! It's called "special moments to detonate themselves".
what tracks were on their demo?
If i can be arsed, i'll post their email addy up and you can order one off them.
it would be really, really worth your while....

Re: Jetplane Landing: Tour Supports Confirmed

were talking about he adenoidal ep, which is a bout a year or two old

sounds very killtaker era fugazi

Re: Jetplane Landing: Tour Supports Confirmed

that's cool. dya know where i can get it from? what was the track listing on it?

Re: Jetplane Landing: Tour Supports Confirmed

http://www.organart.demon.co.uk/biotheonceovertwice.htm - you can get it through a link there. or alternatively im sure the band could sort you out with a copy.

the demo was re-released on Organ as the "Strikes And Gutters" EP. It got single of the week on Radio 1 as well so its even more of a shame that the exposure hasnt really been followed up by some more press interest.

the demo was recorded in 2001 and the tracklisting was: Adenoidal (worth buying the EP for alone) and three others. I cant remember the names off the top of my head but all four tracks were great, i really mean that. I doubt many, if any, of the tracks from the EP would be on the album anyway, as Darren (the vocalist) was saying that they were just itching to record their new stuff.

I put them on in High Wycombe in March and they played a good set but at the time had no new material for sale, so i'm definetely up for buying the album.

Is their email address still plymscene@madasafish.com?

Re: Jetplane Landing: Tour Supports Confirmed

yeah, i think that's the email, but i'll double check for ya.
might have to pick me up a copy of that demo as well.
DiS should definitely get something about the Once over Twice on here - they're well overdue some credit and exposure.

Re: Jetplane Landing: Tour Supports Confirmed

Newcastle venue change

Just in case anyone at all is interested, the venue has changed for the newcastle gig on Sunday. It is now at the DOG AND PARROT which formally used to be the tut and shive down by the train station.
