...and the Minus 3 - Peter sodding Buck, that is - are playing the Leicester Charlotte on 23rd June as a stopoff between festivals... and I've already otherwise engaged with Dylan Moran that night. His booking agent should have been more considerate.

I've only seen Robyn play live once

He was bloody good. It was the Royal Festival Hall show that Yo La Tengo did where they had Robyn, Neil Innes and Sonic Boom on stage with them and just did a 3 hour gig, mostly YLT stuff, but with a few songs by Hitchcock, Innes and Sonic Boom chucked in.

IMMENSE!

the...

Robyn & Minus 3 shows (well, the two i saw anyways) earlier this year were awesome. I've seen Robyn / The Soft Boys countless times, but i think this line-up is possibly my fave (especially when they had Morris Windsor doing percussion and harmonies). wish i'd been able to attend the Cambridge date tho, where Peter Buck AND Kimberly Rew were the guitarists.

sorry.
Feg-Nerd.

O2 Fest. Leeds

Robyn's on at the O2 festival, along with such delights as Super Furries, The Flaming Lips and The Who. Eeeek! I've got my ticket - I'll be the twat at the front shouting "Give it to the Soft Boys!", feel free to pelt me with bottles of piss!

I was at that gig...

It was great!

I also saw Robyn and Scott M support Jeff Tweedy at Shepherds Bush as the Red Locust Frenzy and they were great too... I really must pick up some Robyn stuff.

That was aimed

At the Cambridge gig!
