i'm being a bit harsh. the music on the whole, is pretty good so no problems there. they just could tone down the talk about how they once took skag with jimi hendrix, drunk pete doherty's sperm and do the cheesy ironic satan hand signs whenever there maybe something slighty heavy comes on, you know?

The trouble with all dj-ing (not a criticism of Dis radio here by the way before I get told off) is that Djs never know when to shut up and unless they are actually funny or have a warm voice it can be quite jarring, so I say in general to all djs - if you dont fit the criteria, shut the fuck up!

I think what you say is true but I think it's not really name dropping so much as general comment. You'd not notice it from (say) an XFM DJ but the DiS guys tend to meet the same people as those from XFM. Did that make sense?
However, I have considered going through each and deleting the talking, if only because it's so quiet compared to the music.

Even Craig Charles plays the odd good song and his dj skills are the end of the world
