And I rthought this was a post about Barnet FC

Still, never really liked The Bees, even when my mate played the album to death. Like four whole times or something.

Hmmm. You know, what annoys me about The Bees is that first LP proper 'Sunshine Hit Me' was an amazing sub-dub-reggae-funk album that was my favourite summer album a few years in a row.

Then they went all retro-rock and monotonous. It's so rubbish when that happens.

yeah

I liked the first album actually.

the second one was utterly poo on a stick though.

I like em

They may have gone 'retro-rock' but at least it's charming and tuneful, not like f**king Jet or the Kings of Leon.

Chicken Payback = best. video. ever.

.

and the track is fucking awesome too. I'm normally 'agin' retro sounding recordings, in a why bother it's never gonna sound as good as sixties stuff kinda way, but they did a very good job. Super close sound to sixties recordings

Whats the Luurve song

On album nuber 2? Its a cover.. but it is mhmmm... so nice. Makes me wanna love at each listen.
