Ikara Colt may have been down following the departure of founding bassist Jon Ball, but one new member later they're preparing to unleash hell at a few small venues around the country.

Tracy Bellaires has stepped into the bassist breach, and the band are currently working with producer Alex Newport (At The Drive-In, The Icarus Line) on their forthcoming second album. Seriously, how good is this record going to be!?

The group play the following shows in November and December, and release a limited edition live 7" (called 'Live' at this point) soon. Check www.fantasticplastic.co.uk for details as and when they're announced.

  • Nov 27 - Winchester, Pink Flamingo Club @ Railway Inn
  • Nov 28 - Tunbridge Wells, Forum
  • Nov 29 - Colchester, Soundhouse
  • Dec 1 - Northampton, Soundhaus www.thesoundhaus.com
  • Dec 2 - London, ICA (plus Deerhoof and The Killers)
