New Website From Ex-MBA Guitar Man

After an overwhelming response to the MP3 and CD-R release of his new solo work, Ex-Miss Black America guitarist Gish has launched a new web site.

Despite using his name, www.gishsounds.com is not only a personal website for distributing his own MP3's. The site aims to present music from anyone willing to share their own experiments and discoveries - "anybody interested, or interesting".

Gish told DiS, "All the music found here will be homemade, independent of any commercial structures, and strictly at nobody's expense whatsoever. I am not interested in poking fun, or laying blame, or finding fault." He describes the music he's looking for as, "the small ideas - the debris that doesn't make the final cut. Not the crap, but those moments when your imagination shifts beyond your audience."

If you're interested in contributing to the site for free, simply e-mail Gish - theboygish@hotmail.com.

Until more new artists are featured on the site, it will mainly feature Gish's own work, plus the work of artists he is already familiar/friends with; including the first tracks from fellow Miss Black America offspring, My Hi-Fi Sister.

The address is www.gishsounds.com - keep an eye for updates and new additions as more artists contribute their music!

come on

does anyone really care about Miss Black America ?

Re: come on

i doubt it, but this seems cool irrespective

Re: come on

if you didn't/don't like MBA's stuff, don't hold it against this - Gish's new stuff is very different (kinda godspeed meets aphex twin meets 65*daysofstatic) and really rather good. plus, most of the other stuff on the website will have nothing to do with MBA in anyway, what so ever.
