The most powerful thing to come out of London since John Prescot's right hook, Part Chimp, play this Sunday (30th November) at The Buffalo Bar, and are giving YOU the chance to be immortalised on record.

Well, sorta... the band's performance, alongside Todd, is to be recorded for a forthcoming 'Live At The Buffalo Bar' album, so any abuse you wish to hurl at the quartet may well be captured and preserved on record for all eternity. Door fee will be around a fiver.

Part Chimp release a new single on 7" and CD (through Rock Action) in the new year. 'Bring Back The Sound' will be backed by 'Hitlers and Jews' from the group's debut album, 'Chart Pimp'. They recently toured the US with Mogwai, and 'Chart Pimp' will be offically released over there through Monitor in the new year.

Anyone intending on seeing the band on Sunday is advised to bring their own earplugs, as the band regret that they have run out for the time being. Trust me, you will need them.

Getting on this record would be the closest I've come to fame since my mate's mate's sister's arm was momentarily glimpsed in 'Spiceworld: The Movie'! And Part Chimp are good, too!

(Oh, and John Prescott is clearly not from London, which kind of undermines that opening sentence.)

Fair enuff. Though *the* right hook was actually a left hook, if we're being ultra-pedantic.

(Pointing out mistakes like this leaves me less time to contemplate the terrifying meaninglessness of my empty life. For similar reasons, I'm very good at Bubble Bobble.)

In hindsight, the porker led with his left, but his right was raring to go... look at him, LOOK AT HIM! He's a fucking animal... what doesn't like eggs. Brilliant.
