SAGA insure their tour bus, y'know.

Still-popular pop-types New Order have announced a few dates for later this year.

The band will play the following dates in October, probably in support of something. If you don't have any New Order in your collection yet, this problem can be sorted by visiting Virgin, where their Singles collection is available in the three-for-£20 deal. I know, 'cause I saw it there at lunch.

They've got a three-disc Bowie set in the same deal. Quids in!

October 2006
11 Newcastle Academy
16 Blackpool Empress Ballroom
18 Glasgow Academy
27 London Wembley Arena
29 Wolverhampton Civic Hall

Tickets go on sale this Friday at 9am.

...

I really do hate the sight of Peter Hook...

Support

in London is Maximo Park if anyone is interested

Who's supporting in

Blackpool?

I do wish they'd call it a day

before one of them dies on stage or something.

their

rendition of transmission is embarrsing(bad spelling). he dances like a prick. just stop it.

!

I heart the Peter Hook basslines...

Shush you tiernan.

superb

this band own everything out at the moment that tries to poorly immitate them, wish the pricks who like the new shite electronica would represent new order too and not label them because of their age,

two awesome bands one with ian second after he died!!

Support

They should get Kevin Hewick to support. He's so match fit.

Bless them

they are one of those bands that are just always there but unfortunately always poo.
I wish he would stop pretending he can sing live!

aww, nasty

I don't think they're poo but am nervous of going to see them because, well, from seeing them on tv or whatever it's embarrasingly like watching your dad trying to be hip. With Barney in his massive, massive white trainers.

Temptation live would be awesome though.

I really wanna see

New Order for some reason.

I think its just a see-the-next-best-thing-to-JoyDivision thing...

Woooooh there kids.

New Order are still as relevant as ever and their live experience is awesome. Brixton last year was one of the best gigs ever. The older (joy division) stuff is as punk as ever and when some of the dancier beats kick in we're all raving at the Hacienda.
Don't be doubters. New Order are STILL as good as ever.

Yes

Fantastic at T in the Park last year.

Rubbish to watch on tv live but when you're there, you forget all the silly old man behaviour and just.. dance.
