fuck they rule. I forgot how good dopesmoker is. I fear I'm probably in a minority here.

Matt Pike is

a fucking guitar god. Sleep's Holy Mountain is ace too, but Dopesmoker is awesome = 60 minutes of pure heaviness. Especially that bit where it takes about 2 minutes to complete about 5 riffs.

Om, and High On Fire, the two acts that sleep begat, the full length version of dopesmoker is awesome.. but I do have a soft spot for the tunes on holy mountain too. Especially dragonaut.

dunno why, maybe it's cause it's faster. holy mountain is awesome as is dopesmoker.

i dare someone who dj's to play it in it's eniritey. i was tempted so often.

yeah, High on Fire certainly do rule..

Just got a copy of Jerusalem, although I reckon listening to dopesmoker twice in 24 hours may be damaging, at least to my work rate, but I'm going to do it anyway...
