Free The Grey Album!

Drowned in Sound (hi, that's us, how you doin'?) reported on DM's 'The Grey Album' last month. Since then, EMI have gotten themselves into a right state over the record, which mixes The Beatles' 'White Album' (yes, I know that's not its real title, gimme a break) with Jay-Z's 'The Black Album'. In fact, they don't want it released at all! BOO...

DiScuss: Downhill Battle's Rebecca Lauries has stated that "EMI isn't looking for compensation, they're trying to ban a work of art." Are remixes works of art? With 'The Grey Album' available for download across the 'net, can EMI ever really ban it?

Um... I'm not bothered about this record either, but why did you bother with the above post? Why bother with Drowned in Sound if you find it dumb? Why not go out and discover... women? (That's an educated guess... you are a frustrated bloke, right?)-

But dumb I am not - our readers like a little DM, as shown by the responses to the last report on this particular subject.
If you don't, so be it.
For the record, personally, I couldn't give a monkey's about this record.
