'90s rock/schmindie band Ned's Atomic Dustbin, who hail from Birmingham, are reforming again to plays gigs in December. Yes, December.

London Highbury Garage on Dec 16th and Glasgow King Tut's on Dec 18th. Tickets are available now from Ticketweb.

You may remember them from such songs as 'Grey Cell Green', 'Kill Your Television' and 'Stuck', or you might just remember them from their T-shirts. They had two bassists too, which is pretty cool.

Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

They dont hail from brum silly, its stourbridge!!!!(and coventry ithink but mainly sunny stourbridge)

Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

old news - confirmed to me by the webmaster 2 months ago. You might also forget about their wolverhampton date on 19th dec, but you wont see me there as i aint going....

Re: Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

or dear. how could i possibly live without seeing graham at their wolverhampton gig?

Re: Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

I'm too busy being violently jealous at graham knowing the webmaster of the Ned's Atomic Dustbin website, me.... ;)

Re: Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

very easily, i suspect.....

Re: Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

Please explain how this is "old news" to the rest of us just because the Neds webmaster told YOU 2 months ago? Tosser.

Re: Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

the dates have been listed on ticketmaster and lordy knows elsewhere for ages. but anyway, thats just me keeping me eyes open.

Re: Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

I like it how you've changed your story...

Re: Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

Well, I had it from the webmaster of the stuffies site (some bloke called nashie who I've know for a while, and he's all of 21 if you're under the illusion he's some middle-aged fart) and then the tix went online @ the glasgow garage website and online ticket agencies some 4 weeks ago.
Get with the program - the online booking agenices simply confirmed to me what I'd alreayd been told. With yer ear to the ground you woulda known weeks ago....
like anyone really cares. (I'm not too bothered to be honest)

Re: Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

My ear is very much to the ground, just not so much caring an awful lot for Ned's Atomic Dustbin. Though, it seems, by the amount of hits this story's had, a lot of people didn't know already.

So "get with the program" (sic) and piss off.

Re: Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

Im getting the vibe you dont like em that much somehow...funny that. (If your definition of "gettign with the program" means sucking up to the self-proclaimed self-important DiS Clique, I think I prefer mine).

"If your definition of "gettign with the program" means sucking up to the self-proclaimed self-important DiS Clique"

eh??
and no, i don't much like Ned's a huge amount apart from a few songs, but i don't just write news stories about bands i like. and i don't care how old their webmaster is! i'm 26 and my favourite bands are in their 30s! big woo!

Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

Dan Worton was at the mitre in stourbridge last nite, his band (which he plays bass instead of drums) is great. Bring out the freaks, theyr called.

Re: Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

Dan's band is called Bouncing Bomb, and yes, it was all over the web a while ago, so its hardly news. Anyway, not that I care. Go back to your Ghettos....

Re: Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

i heard about them tonite, seems i havent got out much.
I would hardly call stourbridge the ghetto. An angry mob awaits you.

Re: Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

Stourbridge sure is a ghetto.... I think the angry mob are people who can't leave that hole myself!

Re: Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

each to their own pal, but lets just compare it to the wrens nest eh? Makes stourbridge look like notting hill.

Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

If we wish to be pernickity about where they came from, you'll find that Jonn at least came from Quarry Bank. Most of the Stourbridge bands lived elsewhere but were roped into a scene because they played at The Mitre in Stourbridge.

And now I feel ashamed for my Neds Knowledge.

Re: Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

the use of the word "for" there sounds very american to me for some reason.

everyones americanised these days. i mean: americanized.

Re: Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

That's just incorrect use of prepostition: 'by' would be the right word to use rhere ather than 'for', unless they're personifying their Ned's knowledge. But then again, this is DiS, where an ability to write even vaguely well is (in general) wholly unnecessary! Boom boom!

Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

Three things from the horses mouth:
1. We don't reform - more like re-assemble because we can.
2. Wolverhampton Civic Hall - 22nd December.
3. Be nice to each other.

Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

I'll be there

Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

I'll be there. Tickets are going fast but still available I was told this morning. Agree that this band are sensational live and this gig will certainly be sold out soon ! Cypress Hill on Friday at The Garage is sold out by the way I was also told.

Whats yours ?

Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

They have now added SHEFFIELD on Friday 18 December and have a new album out in the shops called Sessions which also has a DVD as part of the package.

Re: Ned's Atomic Dustbin Reform. Again

PS
they are on the CRASH indie anthems compilation that is being tv advertised with KILL YOUR TELEVISION as well!
