A 27 year old woman who is on the dole, so how does she afford a flat on oldham street? I'm not aware of any housing estates in that area, and I work full time and can only just afford withington.
*cough*hooker*cough*dealer*cough* Not that i'm suggesting anything
I've been told apparently you can't actually hear anything from her flat. But I don't know how true that is.
D'you reckon she is? If she is, it shouldn't be too hard for a local journalist to dig up enough dirt on her to make the City council look very bad, should they choose to act on her complaint. Seriously, if anyone knows any truth in this rumour, they should use the power of the press to put pressure on the council: You can sign all the petitions in the world, but councillors are just prefects grown up: THEY HATE THE IDEA OF ANYONE HAVING ANY FUN EVER, IT FRIGHTENS THEM!
Or if you've got enough evidence, you could directly blackmail the resident in question into withdrawing her complaint.
But I'd make dead sure you've got your facts right or you could make not only yourself, but everyone else invovled look like complete twats.
I should have put 'that's what i've been told'
My friend works on Oldham Street, and asked the Handyman who does all the work down that way.
Has anything been mentioned in the local press, city life or anything like that? I read an article in there a few weeks back by someone bemoaning living in the city centre. They did say they got what they asked for.
With planning applications, and applications for some licences, advance notice has to be given in a public place, does anyone know if this is the same for revoking a licence?
