but they are so talented you can't deny that the singer is and the drummer also the things the guitarists come up with is v cool also :) i liked them befor anyone else because i heard them abroad and was v gutted when i came here cause they weren't here yet but i'm so happy that they are here now that don't really care what anybody thinks about them cause i thnk they rock and the hole album is v energetic which is v cool

icarus line- penance soiree, turbonegro- apocalypse dudes and minus- halldor laxness

also the new ash one, but i reckon the actual album plays a bit weak, the second cd when its done live is much more powerful, really grabs you rather that just floats by.

Dude, I'm terrified of even listening to 'Sung Tongs' despite the generally excellent reviews it's been garnering simply because Animal Collective suck so, so badly live. Badly enough to almost ruin my evening, I shit you not, and that was with Fennesz, Explosions In The Sky and Manitoba all playing amazing sets.

Com Lag is a mixed bag, ranging from dodgy to excellent. The LA version of 'I Will' makes it sound a little less like 'Because' by The Beatles.

yeh it fills in a radiohead collection really, its good to hear some of the remixes and different versions and stuff ive been wanting to hear since httt came out. since i got it its been on repeat, so i thought it rude not to include in a top 3 list.

Something's gonna have to move me enough to dislodge those from the playlist. Morrissey managed it for a day, the Walkmen for two or three (well, The Rat and Little House of Savages, at least). I'm praying that Sonic Youth and The Cure might have a tussle.

respect to you for mentioning the ghostface album! rules over the meth album, unfortunately. read an interview in xxl about meths trouble with def jam, load of rza tunes not cleared for the album, along with them wanting him rapping with the 'now' artists. anyway, im rambling, the ghost album is the proper wu album of the mo, thats all.

Devendra Banhart - 'Rejoicing in the Hands' If there's a more beautiful record this year, I'll eat my winky.

PJ Harvey - 'Uh Huh Her' Not her best by a long way, but worth it just for 'Pocket Knife' and 'Who the Fuck?', the latter being a nice little bitchslap to Karen O.
