Just got it through my letterbox. Why is everyone who has downloaded it going on about how incredible it is? Is it just some kind of "follow the leader" style raving? To me, on first listen, it doesnt sound half as good as the first record.
I'm probably completely wrong.

i love it
favourite record of the year overall. 10/10
it's perfect i think
10/10
but wait
http://www.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/displayProductDetails.do?ctx=280;-1;-1;-1&sku=525312
que? the songs i have are not called this, and theres one track to little. weird
poissonally
i think 10/10's overstretching it a bit. it's a damn, damn good record though. 8.5 or 9/10.
PITCHFORK ALERT!
yeah
you're right.
i should be a bit more specific.
let's say 8.7973.
its kinda more obvious and accessible than th.e first recordq
it sounds fuller and more realised, but all the material is fucking gorgeous. its brilliant
anyone know...
... anything about a collaboration with Massive Attack- heard they were gonna be involved with Massive Attack's new album- plus David Byrne- sounds pretty cool.
eh??
the version I got is nothing like that, totally different tracklisting!? What's going on?
...
bacause HMV have put the tracklisting from a Breed77 album on there instead! Nice work, overpriced music shop!
ah!
makes sense (i guess)
cheers
yes!
I heard about that. It would have been interesting.
creed
i agree, not so great. but I think their vocals sound too much like creed vocals. bahhhh
on the actual cd version
this is the tracklisting ...
I Was A Lover
Hours
Province
Playhouses
Wolf Like Me
A Method
Let The Devil In
Dirtywhirl
Blues From Down Here
Tonight
Wash The Day
I'm listening to it again now a lot louder than I did earlier and I must say, its already sounding a lot better...
that's where they
went wrong then, they moved Wolf Like Me from the start of the album to the middle. I Was A Lover at the beginning?? Idiocy. The leaked version had a far better track order...
I agree
The first record was perfectly paced, whereas the new one sounds like a rush-job.
Personally
I fucking love it!
Ian
You are definitely my favourite member of Redjetson. You must come back to Brighton and I'll take you to another dodgy student party. We never did work out the digital camera mystery if you have a clue what I'm talking about... or even remember who I am. Look forward to your new record!
In thread related news the last track on the TVOTR album is awesome. I'm sure it will get a lot better with a few listens...
