If you could sing like any singer who would it be?

I'd go for:

Mike Patton or rather controversially.....

The lead singer of Phoenix so I could sing at girls.
While looking them in the eye.
Wearing a suit.
Swaying in a slightly 80's way.

Girls would love that.....

I think it's best to sing like yourself...

...but if I had to choose anyone else then Nick Cave no question.

The amount of character in his voice and the range of his songs are both incredible.

I was going to say Nick Cave too!

Might be a bit weird though, what with me being female and all...

Rob Thomas or David Ford.

Jeff Buckley

its a bit obvious but he has an ace voice. Wouldn't mind being able to play the guitar like him either.

You're right,

Calvin Johnson does have a great voice-very affecting and raw.

good topic!!

Roscoe Holcomb for sure.

my singing voice is very similar to that of the girl from Blonde Redhead, but more whiney, which is really embarassing
