is making the fact i'm usually always down seem quite silly really. yeah, silly.
i'm only on track 2 but the first one is just like 6 minutes of the sleaziest, sexiest, most minimalist, big bass stuff i've ever heard.
i know nothing about them though, any other records i should buy?
This is a band I've been meaning to buy an album by too.
The couple of tracks I've heard have been ace.
i was the same
i nearly always investigate the newest record of bands so it was this one. it's really quite amazing actually. track 4 is just brilliant.
The first album "Come Away with ESG"
Is perfect all the way through. But for economies sake you may want to go for the compilation 'A Sout Bronx Story' it's got all the classics with a few rare singles and whatnot:

If you like them check out Liquid Liquid too, especially the songs 'Cavern' & 'Optimo'
Definitely buy A South Bronx Story
I haven't heard this new record though, I did hear one track and it sounded good.
yeah, the "comp" looks interesting
i've heard stuff from Liquid Liquid that was quite good. and they gave Optimo his name so can't be awful.
I saw them ar Primavera
they were incredible.
I want this record.
they still going
I only have the 99p records stuff
oh ESG how i love thee
i played "Moody" last friday at the Barfly and accidentally played some Slowdive over the top of it and got asked "what that ESG remix was" :D
i need the new record BAAAD.
ESG Remix
Ha - you should've recorded them together at home and put it out yourself!
Step off
is pretty damn funky. Check that out too.
i didn't know they had a newbie...
saw them once at koko. they were tip-top fun.
they did afew things on Factory Records didn't they as well
'back in the day'
Yeah they played the opening night of the hacienda
And put out a few singles via Factory.
Hmmm...
I'll keep an eye on this, it's on Soul Jazz isn't it?
And as the other people have said, go buy a South Bronx Story.
Soul Jazz, yep
I pretty sure it's gonna be my album of the year now.
