thisGIRL postpone Glasgow but announce Scottish tour

Their album, the first album on our label, is out next week, but we have mixed news for our Scottish readers...

The bad news first: tonight's (5th July) thisGIRL show in Glasgow has been postponed. The good news is, the band have announced a proper tour of Scotland in August with support from XisLoaded and it's sponsored, or at least soaked in, Scottish Malt Whisky.

AUGUST
Thurs 5th Kirkwall Orkney Islands, Fusion
Fri 6th Forres East Grange, The Loft
Sat 7th Fort William BA Club
Sun 8th Inverness Blue
Mon 9th Aberdeen Kef
Tue 10th TBC
Wed 11th Glasgow Cathouse

All tickets for the July 5th date at the Cathouse will be good for the date in August.

tG are currently on tour, with these remaining dates this week...

Kirkwall, Forres; some really big places there then? I guess thats what they call the toilet circuit.

Ooooh, good point - might not be Dundee after all!!! My money's on Edinburgh actually, but I really don't care cuz they're coming to Aberdeen! :-D Why don't you Dundee guys come down to the Granite City to see 'em?

compared to forres, i think metropolis is the right word.

given its a scottish tour you might be struggling, but "scottish tour" tends to mean "playing in glasgow", so they've already surpassed expectations.
