Went to see YMss the other week. Great to see a venue that thinks about the bands its put on and manages to put a whole night together without mismashing all the bands

People often complain about the sound or it being outta the way, but if you put it up against the Barfly or any of those other venues people 'make do' with you quickly start to wonder why on earth more people dont give 93 the praise it deserves.

Sorry.
It's always cold.
And the beer is too expensive.
And I have to walk past curry to get there, which is, for me, nigh on impossible.
Thus, my evening is ruined before I even arrive!

Praps if we all went on a drinking strike for a week, we could force them to lower prices... mmm... sober suggestions.

i can guarantee you the beer there is so much cheaper than in dublin 8(

as venue it treats bands brilliantly and i find mullet-spotting a nice interlude between acts
and the sound guys don't spend the entire evening texting their girlfriends...
