Jimmy Tamborello of The Postal Service has released a new album under the name James Figurine.

The record is called Mistake, Mistake, Mistake, Mistake, and it's now on general release. Among the various contributors are Sonya Westcott (Arthur and Yu), Morgan Nagler, (Whispertown 2000), Erlend Øye (Kings of Convenience) and Jenny Lewis (Rilo Kiley, The Postal Service).

I thought it was a bit boring.

I was quite disappointed.
nowhere near as good as Dntel.
or even figurine.

Ehem.

DNTEL has moments of greatness.

This is very Kings of Convenience.. Quirky happy electro is really "in". No wonder Brainlove has attached his merry name to it.

It reminds me of a simpler time.. Where Casios with Wham demos were hip.
