In their words: Lakes started out bloody ages ago as a live side project to Jamie and Ross's electronic project 'photobook'. All play and have played in various bands together over the years, some you probably heard of, some you wouldn't of, that isn't important. What is important is that all are committed to playing music for music's sake, adhering as much as possible to a DIY ethic that seems obsolete to so many bands today.
