Debut album He Has Left Us Alone But Shafts Of Light Sometimes Grace The Corner Of Our Rooms was a beautiful, mournful paean to Godspeed! guitarist Efrim's late pet dog. ASMZ's second album, Born Into Trouble As The Sparks Fly Upward was released in 2001 under their new name, The Silver Mt Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra-La-La Band, after the band expanded from three members to six.
