Caravan were at the forefront of the very English prog rock scene that sprung up in the Canterbury area in the late '60s. In the early '90's, Hastings, Coughlan and Dave Sinclair reformed the band, with long-time associates Jimmy Hastings and Geoff Richardson, and with Jim Leverton replacing Richard Sinclair on bass.
