Zwan are an indie rock supergroup in the true sense of the word. Leader Billy Corgan spearheaded the project in the aftermath of The Smashing Pumpkins' demise, with their former drummer Jimmy Chamberlain. Recruiting David Pajo (Papa M, Tortoise), Paz Lenchantin (A Perfect Circle) and Matt Sweeney (Chavez), the band released their debut album, 'Mary Star Of The Sea', in 2003.
