US nu-metal crossover crew who have ridden accusations of misogyny, caused by some of their less savoury lyrics, to release two albums - their self-titled debut and follow-up Broke.

As the band themselves state on their official web-site:

"(hed)p.e. changed its name. The p.e.'s meaning will change every album. The crew wants to be known as (hed), with the p.e. only being a secondary part of their name.

(hed)p.e. stands for:

(hed) = deep from in yo mind
p.e. = Planet Earth"
