Brief band history:

Formed in January 1996, within three months Anti-Clockwise had recorded their first demo, in one take, with no guitar overdubs. Their early gigs were local affairs for close friends only, but from the very beginning they proved popular, with appearances on compilations such as the punk CD, ‘Chaos in Portugal’ and a support slot with The Humpers when they toured Portugal. After much more recording and touring, the debut CD, ‘Give Me’, was recorded in October 1998, then in January 2001 three more songs were recorded at the STS Studio for the ‘Waiting for the Chaos’ single, released the following month. Having performed in the UK at a Five Miles High showcase gig, the band started recording its new album, and soon songs were cropping up on UK compilations, including the Changes One sampler, ‘If They Come For Us… Just Keep Playing’. The album, ‘If You Want It… Come and Get It’ is scheduled for release in June 2003.
