DNA Doll

Immaculate conceptual, DNA Doll were conceived in London, 2000 AD.................

Group members formed to modify a nu-sound, cross pollinating dark electronics with minimalist, 'organic' guitars. They gave the music a spaciousness, fusing a stark techno-modern rock with cut-up lyrics speaking of CCTV..... {electric} cars..... genetics..... love....... and commercial breakdown.

Songs were constructed in a TV and communications saturated atmosphere, resulting in a looped up fuzzed out musical form. DNA Doll committed itself to the search for beauty in a apathetic and decadent Western culture.....

Their debut EP saw the lead track A-listed at X-FM, and also received heavy airplay from the likes of Steve Lamaq at Radio One, as well as loading stations across Europe and the States. Word quickly spread on both sides of the Atlantic that something special was going on out here...........
