School for the Gifted’s music draws uniquely from an array of rock and metal influences from past and present, described recently in an interview by a European Rock magazine as having :-

“One foot firmly in the old school and the other kicking hard into 2002. School for the Gifted are a very energetic band and pay specific attention to putting on a live show that is not only good listening but also something visual, without having to resort to the extremes of bizarre stage props! Screaming lead breaks, hook-laden riffs, soaring vocals and thundering rhythm section with a groove that keeps the crowd on its knees. The way good rock should be!”

They have a big following in Reading, their home town and in Swansea where they have played 2 massive gigs. They have also just returned from a successful tour of Denmark and Germany.
