Angels Fight The City emerged in January from the ashes of XFM favourites Go Rimbaud. They recorded their single 'Out Of Depth On Land' in two days in February and it has already received high praise from the likes of Rolling Stone. With identifiable influences ranging from Pavement and Joy Division, to The Clash and Tom Waits these three tracks reveal a highly original sound – strange at first, but then irresistible.

Gigs with Katastrophy Wife and a sell-out UK tour supporting Razorlight have helped to give AFTC a live edge that most bands could never achieve after just six months playing together. Angels Fight The City exhibit a raw, uptight energy that combines with serious song writing and a startling variety of ideas to create an utterly compelling live act.
