Sean and Leon met through mutual friends whilst still at school. Within a matter of months, and still only at the tender ages of 15 and 16 respectively, they had formed their first punk band, playing gigs at such venues as The Falcon (Camden) and the Beer Keller (Southampton).

Skip a few years of constant gigging and it became apparent that both wanted to move together into a different musical direction. Sean's songwriting had moved on from a youthful angry punk sound to a more darker, soulful and atmospheric sound. Matt, who had previously collaborated with the other two, joined them in early 2003 to form SomaHigh.

Their first few months together were spent in the studio formulating and developing the band's own distinct sound. They then played their debut gig at the Camden Barfly in August 2003, followed soon after with a slot at the Southampton Joiners.

Further well received support slots followed with bands such as Simple Kid, Razorlight, RedJetson and The Boxer Rebellion. The band have also headlined the Camden Barfly twice in 2004. Join the mailing list to receive regular updates from the band.
