21 Dead - formed early spring '04 are a 5 piece guitar band with very little respect for the well being of others. Early gigs with Bloc Party and Jetplane Landing forced people to sit up and take notice of their live performances whilst never letting the audience forget who they are.
"Friends who make music" (21 Dead) rather than 'musicians that make friends' is one way to describe them, another way is "arrogant perverts"(Punk-orama, Hitchin).... Sounding rather like The Cramps beating hard on The Queens of the Stone age and listing influences like TurboNegro, 80's Matchbox B-Line Disaster and The Distillers. Recently, Patrice Picard, from legendary Old school Punks The Cannibals, has been helping the band out in the studio with a view getting their music to a wider audience. Like it?? Not that 21 Dead would 'give a f*ck anyway......'
