During 2003 FS_ION (Rebecca Closure) played solo laptop gigs around London (Turnmills/333) with an aggressive stage show (known as meatfest/dogfest) featuring dancers I.E and added flavours of projected video.

During 2004 a bass player and guitar player gravitated to the FS_ION experience, conspiring for a live show that has to be seen to be believed. This set-up then performed at diverse venues such as ‘Wired Women’ at the Spitz (with Kevin Blechdom), Art’s Cafe (The Orchestra Pit), 291 ("intoxicating, sexual performance"), Old Street’s Vibe Bar ("I was gonna leave london but i think i’ll stay now i’ve seen you perform", said one random punter) and an Utrophia festival at a farm in Snowdonia, North Wales.

A Promo 'Hotklub' CD-R released in 2004 established the FS_ION sound. It comes galavanised as standard, but if you care to unravel the layers: aggressive bass, strong vocals and a fresh take on electronic composition are all there to be found. 'Black Cat White Cat' is a rhythm-vowel-vehicle for Closure’s language, 'Cresto' (making Esperanto quake in its boots). 'Take It All' does just that. As for anthems such as 'Die Heiße Klub'? Well, I don’t care if you like it or not.
