Rammstein - Band In Coal

Rammstein

Signed to label: Universal Music
From: Germany

Founded in 1994 by former members of German bands including Orgasm Death Gimmick, First Arsch and The Inchtabokatables, Industrial / Goth rockers Rammstein first found a greater level of fame with their appearance on the soundtrack to David Lynch flick The Lost Highway, alongside Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins and Marilyn Manson.

The band is comprised of Till Lindermann (vocals), Richard Kruspe (guitar), Paul Landers (guitar), Flake Lorenz (keyboards), Oliver Riedel (bass) and Christoph Schneider (drums).

Notorious for not only singing in German and perhaps mistakenly being presumed to have Nazi oftertones, but also an excessive stage show featuring pyrotechnics, squirting fake cocks and the like.

To date, they've released / appeared on the following albums...

- Herzeleid (1995)
- Lost Highway OST (1996)
- Sehnsucht (1997)
- For The Masses: A Tribute To Depeche Mode (1998)
- Live Aus Berlin (1999)
- Mutter (2001)
