Neo-classical strings mixed with folk strumming and punk riffs...

Tarantula A.D. are a three-piece using cello, violin, piano and MIGHTY drums and guitars, when it suits them. Their latest record, Book Of Sand features vocal contributions from a CocoRosie sister and Devendra Banhart. It's on Kemado Records, website here.

Shortly after the release of Book Of Sand, the band changed their name to Priestbird.
