Black Label Society

Black Label Society like their metal. This probably has something to do with their frontman being Zakk Wylde, famed for his giutar and writing work with Ozzy Osbourne. Here's the personnel list:

John DeServio - bass
Craig Nunenmacher - drums

Playing live, the trio are joined by rhythm guitarist Nick Catanese. BLS formed in 1998 after Wylde was offered guitar work in 1994 for both Ozzy's comeback tour (having 'retired' in 1992) and Guns N Roses but ended up just recording a solo album instead. They then sold over a million records worldwide across six albums: Sonic Brew (1999), Stronger Than Death (2000), 1919 Eternal (2002), The Blessed Hellride (2003), Hangover Music Vol. VI (2004) and Mafia (2005).

A seventh album, Shot To Hell, is to be released late 2006 on their new home, Roadrunner Records. Zakk said: "After spending a lifetime as Wylde Z. Coyote, I guess it was just a matter of time before I'd catch the Roadrunner."
