The classes started last summer at the quaker meeting house in Shaftesbury and was named Expresso Bongo. Now, with training completed the class members have been on the road demonstrating their new found skills. Mrs Fleming not only brought with her dozens of drums and percussion instruments for the young pupils to try out, but also her colleagues Roger Tucker and Polly Wills, who with her comprise an Ngoma Groove. Mrs Sam wore a beautiful green velvet dress embellished with gold and guests could have thought that they might have fallen asleep and woken up in Camelot. June and the wonder of weeds, informed us of the many uses for plants we consider as weeds, eg - nettles as hair restorer and wrappings for cheese. Future meetings include a visit to Neals Yard Products, The Life of Nelson and Bonny Sartin of the Yetties entertaining!
