Taking on the current wave of Hoxton style electro and giving it a serious kick on the behind are Deluka.

Formed in 2005, the band are a four piece studio-based band from Birmingham,full of 80s style electronic blips and squeaks expertly woven together with sleazy guitar riffs, punchy beats, dynmaic basslines and sassy, powerful and sophisticated vocals from frontgirl Ellie.

Noises form 80s analogue synths, Casio keyboards and bleep boxes, among other things, are sampled, distorted, cut, looped, deconstructed and reconstructed, accompanied by abrasive guitar sounds, throbbing bass lines and electrifying vocals...

...All of which results in a full, inherantly danceable sound packed with attitude.
