Please let me know if there are any AMAZING bands I should see next week (Monday onwards). I'm totally bored of seeing the same old bands over and over again.. need to hear something new and exciting (and preferably very loud).
Thanks!

water rats on tuesday

at shepherds bush next week.
probably the best thing to happen to the world since "eldorado"
I saw Misty's twice..
I'm not too crazy about them. But it might be worth going there to see the other band..
!!! - is it sold out yet?
I'm thinking about Misty's as well
And BRLVCLB on Friday, innit.
Malcolm Middleton
on Tuesday

At the George Tavern on Monday - it's free and there's free soup. FREE!!!
The lab
Thursday night at Catch in Shoreditch. Lots of noisy bands on 2 floors.

then
there's TheoGB's gig at ROTA notting hill on the Saturday.4:00-8:00 ;-)
Go see
Shiny Toy Guns at Cargo on Monday. They're the next My Chemical Romance. With all that entails.
Theo is promoting a show
at a venue without White Beer?
Disgrace.
They have Fruli in bottles!
Fruli is lovely
but it becomes to sickly sweet after 3 bottles.
Don't they sell Lithuanian beer called Cocque (or something like that) in Nott Hill Arts Club? Heehee
Nah, it's TROY these days
:-D
The days of TROY are long gone
Cintra is now the default cheap beer at NHAC.
Where's that beer from?
Ohhh, it's been ages since I've been in NHAC. Theo, will your gig be good? :)
Nah, I'm sure it'll be rubbish. ;-)
Well I love the bands we're putting on: The Sailplanes, Swimsuit Issue and The Cathode Ray Syndrome*.
Cintra?
Brazil, I think.
You still
have to attend. :-)
Catch sounds fun..
Will check the link when I get home!
The Brian Jacket Letdown
are ace

I want to see them
Sunday 25th
KAT FLINT
NEW RHODES....
....Are playing a free gig at the Old Blue Last on tuesday night.
My night on Tuesday 20th
At the Good Ship
David Cronenberg's Wife - a bit like the fall, fucking great live - www.myspace.com/davidcronenbergswife
Paul Hawkins & Thee Awkward Silences - I'm told I'm a bit like Nick Cave & Daniel Johnston. Definitely really fucking loud in places (I shut a venue down once by playing a solo acoustic - at a venue well used to loud bands - and causing noise complaints!)
www.myspace.com/theeawkwardsilences
L'il Lost Lou - Female, punk country stuff
www.myspace.com/lillostlou
Albino - not that loud but definitely great
www.myspace.com/therealalbino
Something in the Water - quite folky, really great too
JJ Crash - acoustic punk type thing
www.myspace.com/jjthecrash
Timeout have it as one of their top ten gigs for the week although I don't know if that counts for anything!
