Wu Tang vs Fugazi. And by the evidence of the first track, it's pretty excellent.
"13 Chambers" too- nice!
this is great. more please.
also i'm sure there used to be NO fugazi on spotify but now there is. excellent.
it was about the same time they started capping free use :(
I still prefer this
entire album though? Man.
The combination of Wu-Tang Clan and Fugazi is a winning one. Awaiting its much anticipated July 13 release, the Riverfront Times posted a list of five mash-ups that they'd like to see on the new record. What mash-ups do you want to hear?
i think it's gonna be one of those things that gets better and better with each song
And listen to another track here http://www.caughtinthecrossfire.com/music/news/another-new-wugazi-tune/
isn't done in the style of Wu Tang & Fugazi.
'slow like that' could be a big time radio hit
are the best back-to-back tracks i've heard on an album in ages
sweet release makes me want to have a party
it's clearly one of the best tracks on the album
but not as great as the above four, which are super-awesome and meet my requirements for what makes a great song
this def. one of the best releases all year, it's a cracker!
Anyway it's brilliant. Is it wrong that I like most of these tracks more than the originals? Rap+guitars has had a bad reputation since some of the monstrosities of the 90s. This is getting listened-to all summer.
But then, what 'mashup' ever is?
The only ones that work are using slower fugazi tracks with killer basslines. But I'd still rather listen to the originals (both fugazi and wu tang).
But "Sweet Release" is one of my favourite songs of the year.
