shhhh don't tell Sean...
Why can't I listen to music at work :(
has quite a distinct dreamy tropical island feel to it. Easily the most upbeat Antlers track I've ever heard. Like Burst Apart I can see this being a real grower, some pretty magical sounding things going on under those layers.
Really, really like it.
I never really fell in love with the last record, but their performance at Screen on the Green cinema was one of the best gigs in forever. They don't seem to be capturing much of that live atmosphere on record.
It's pretty, but I didn't find Hospice this... dull. Possibly a move in the wrong direction.
Loved Burst Apart a little too much
posted it on Twitter and DiS' Facebook a few hours after it went up on that site-that-didn't-include-them-in-their-albums-of-2011
I - predictably - really like it. However, can't seem to put my finger on what the final third reminds me of... think it might be a Spiritualized or Dandy Warhols track.
as expected, though I think I prefer Antlers when they're being a bit more tuney, like I don't want love probably my favourite. This seems gorgeous but tad indistinct
really looking forward to the new album now
substituting actual songs for nice sounds.
Much prefered first half of Burst Apart to the second, sounded nice and very pretty but wouldn't pick it out. This is very nice to listen to on it's own but give me Parenthesis any day
Listened to it three times. Damned if I can remember how it goes.

bassline reminds me of Glory Box / Hell is Round the Corner
Quite like it actually, though struggling to love it the way many of y'all do thus far. Only 5 listens in mind.
This new one is a bit backgroundy though after 2 spins to me? Feel like loads of records I bought in the late 90s had B-sides not that dissimilar...
