does it warrant its own thread? ... probably not.
Will listen to Boxer in celebration.
It'll probably only get 8/10!

...did they get their tracklist mixed up with a hypotehtical Grinderman III here? (Very very excited though!)
It's also worth noting that most of the new songs they've been playing live are going to be on the album under new names, based on this image:
Not that it really matters, with The National production is so important that the songs themselves are only half of it.
There is a session version of I Need My Girl though they did for Q - here: http://youtu.be/fSEPs3r1yMk
Live versions of Lola/I Should Live in Salt, Prime/Graceless, I Need My Girl and Sullivan/Humiliation ("Tunnelvision" on the whiteboard, but based on the lyrics it's gone through another name change) are all in Youtube, as well as Rylan which apparently hasn't made the cut.
But I do agree with the importance of the production. The live tracks sound really good but who knows how similar the album versions will be.
Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks was a bit too slow on record whereas the earlier live versions had a bit more pep to them.
That album cover looks like something even Biffy Clyro would have the good sense to reject.
A cover of The Adventures' classic?
Sept 17 w/ Local Natives opening....oooooh!
Just got played by Lauren Laverne on 6. It was in 7/8.
Here's a youtube link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N527oBKIPMc&feature=youtu.be
but so do a lot of their songs and I end up loving them so...great posting.
Just played Demons and sounded far more epic than the version I heard this morning
